Professional mining engineers, geologists, environmental engineers and other women with industry-specific skills, education and experience are invited to apply here to one of the Artemisa Mining Challenge programs listed below.
Additional requirements
In addition to the appropriate professional and educational qualifications, candidates typically must also:
- Have a valid passport that enables travel and work internationally
- Graduated with an engineering degree or one of the four disciplines, including geology, metallurgy or mechanical, engineering
- At least six months of practical experience in their field of interest (can include internships)
- Vaccinated with two doses
- Driver’s license or in progress
Available programs
Female Language Program
Krissilas Group Inc. is the exclusive recruitment partner of the Artemis Project. We are excited to announce the Artemisa Language Program in partnership with the Artemis Project and Language Advantage. This six-week extensive Business and technical language training is offered in Toronto, Canada. It will include in-class, online and practical training provided to female mining engineers in Latin America.
This is an opportunity to improve your Business and Technical English and be introduced to Canadian Mining companies.
Requirements
- Member in good standing with RIM
- Valid passport
- Willing to travel for seven weeks to Toronto, Canada
- Willing to participate in all training sessions
- Advanced English B2 to C2 (CEFR) or 8-12 (CLB) levels
- Bachelor in mining engineer or equivalent
- Have a basic knowledge of software applied to the mining sector (Vulcan, Autocad, Promine, Deswik Ventsim, etc.)
- Minimum of Internship to two years of mining experience
- You must complete the six-week program in total to qualify
- Three years commitment to the program once selected
